The Scullery

Bread & Salt, Pickles & Jams.

Here is where the magic happens.

Pictures of my favorite pantries. Places where I find myself locked away often, but for good reason. I’m drawn to these repositories that act like an arsenal against winter and famine, much like a squirrel must count its supply of nuts during autumn. Whether cooking at my hearth or sautéing on my Wolf, scrubbing at the laundry sink or hosing sticky fingers off outside, I am called to the garden, the pantry, the table and finally the faces of the recipients who experience my efforts. What’s going on behind the scullery doors? What’s fresh from the potager? Who left a mess in the kitchen this time?

Come back each week and scroll down through the scullery menu to see what we’re cooking from the garden to the stove top to the table!
